Awning led lights
Dose anyone know if you can purchase any brand of led lights that is under
Your awning?
I called the local Rv center here and they want 97.00 for 16 foot.
I saw on Amazon you can get a 16 foot for Under $40.00
I appreciate any response
Thanks

As long as they are 12V, any lights will do. The other consideration is how they mount.

Also there are different levels of moisture tolerance; unprotected (dry location only), weather resistant and weather proof. Plus the number of LED’s per foot, color, color temperature, lumens, etc. You get what you pay for, so I avoided the Amazon ones and bought a quality one from Super Bright LED’s so I only had to buy once.

What I used for awning lights. Sorry so late.🤔
I went thru 3 sets of those expensive factory lights.
Then I found the attached items. The lights look like a continuous neon light and are dimmable if wanted. They come with metal attaching pieces that fit right in the old light slot. Then just pushed into each piece and are held securely. You may want to put a few straps across to keep in place when towing. I'm in a park permanently. I'll try to attach a pic of them on the trailer. You can email me for anything else about these.

Could I ask you to send me a PM so we can discuss how I can get a clear copy?

I'm cheap where / how we camp there are drinkers around I got eBay led party lights for less than 10 bucks . apparently they use them at raves etc... They use 2 AAA batteries last 3-4 evenings . We just lay the battery unit in the arm where the adjustment latch is and wrap them up toward the spool . Not much good for visibility but keeps the drunks from opening their foreheads

My old Alpine didn’t come with the LED light strips like the newer trailers do. I just bought ones off Amazon that are rated for outdoor use and wired them into the porch light above the door. Cleaned the side ofnthenRV hood with alcohol and stuck it on with the two sides 3M type tape. I’ve seen those come loose on the nose caps of many RVs, so I used some silicone on the ends to secure them. Any 12v strip will work. If you wire it in with bullet connections, it’ll be real easy to change out in the future if it goes bad.

I have put some 12v Grovee led’s under the edge of trailer on the passenger side of the camper. . They are Bluetooth activated and can be any color. The good thing is they light up the campsite underneath and around the camper but no glare for the neighbors in the campground. They connect straight to the battery, You have no clue there are there and They look great when lit up. You turn them in and off with your phone. If you want could put 2 sets on and the whole underneath of the camper glows like a spaceship and all the light is on the ground around the camper but enough light to make the awning lights unnecessary.
I believe these are the ones I bought, but they have all kinds.

The bolded section may be true in a flat campground. I've been in a few CGs where sires are "stepped" into a hill side and lights under a camper are right at eye level when setting in a chair.
