Rv steps

I’m thinking of getting a 4 step solid step for my fifth wheel.
Has anyone installed these steps and if so what kind of problem did you have?
Any information would be appreciated, thanks

I haven't installed a set but I have them on this trailer. Have you looked at the Torklift Glowstep? The fixed 4 step length has posed a problem for us getting into the RV in our storage barn. I thought it would be fine when I bought it but miscalculated. We've not been in a spot in a campground where they were an issue in the sites where we were, but there were sites in some places where it would have been a problem to deploy them. Just thought I'd ask as we have decided to remove the fixed ones upon our return home due to those problems.

We upgraded to the TorkLift steps a while back, and this was an excellent improvement over the bouncing original steps. This is our steps with the handrail accessory. https://www.torklift.com/rv/glowstep-revolution

The four step version in the photo above has a weight rating of 375 lbs, and if you need the five or six step version, they are rated 325 lbs. I'm about 250 lbs, and the steps do not flex.

We bought these (quick disconnect) a year ago and really enjoy them. No complaints at all. Just giving you options. They obviously sell models with more steps (up to 4 if I remember) but we only needed the 2 step model. Good luck with your search
