Don't know about Ford, but GM had really nice custom fit ones available back when I bought mine, pricey but nice looking & good fit.

What I have been pointed towards by our Ford dealer and others is the Gatorback mud flaps. They even have a special kit so you don’t get any galvanic corrosion between any steel in the mud flap bracket and the aluminum of the truck. Pricey from what I’m seeing, but told it is worth it. But ouch! I’m thinking we will probably do these when our DRW truck comes in (which should be sometime between April 22nd and the end of June! )

Depends on what kind you're looking for (they make a zillion styles). Here is a link to the flaps I put on my truck when towing. I remove them when I'm not. They may work for you. My friend leaves his on all the time.

I’ve been using these since 2007. Got them at Cabelas. They stay down at Hiway speeds and have really saved the front of my fifth wheel. Adjustable for width and trim initial length to match your rig height when loaded.

Several brands out there like previous post. I went with solid rubber instead of brush style that some make.

ChuckS & Sourdough, been looking at these as well. Was thinking of running mud flaps as well as these. That way protects and stops stones from flying out the back. Had my windshield chipped by the bigger pickups that weren't running anything don't want to do the same to someone else. I know I can't stop everything but some is better then none. A for effort kinda thing lol.

Keep in mind that mud flaps do nothing but keep a few stones and a little mud from the sides of your truck. I took the advice of seasoned RV'ers on this site about two years ago and bought 'Rock Tamers' stone guard, very similar to Chuck's setup. They can be had here: https://www.etrailer.com/Mud-Flaps/R.../ERT00108.html
They are most excellent.

Not sure about other states, or countries, but when I bought my last dually in '13 in Texas they are/were required to be permanent on all dually trucks.

Here is a link to what Danny if referring to. The situation may be the same in other states or....?

Whoops! That link didn't work; I'm working on what went wrong.

I can't get a link to it so copied it.

Next Rule>>
TITLE 37
PUBLIC SAFETY AND CORRECTIONS
PART 1
TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY
CHAPTER 21
EQUIPMENT AND VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS
RULE §21.4
Standards for Safety Guards or Flaps

(a) Safety guards or flaps are required on all trucks, trailers, or semitrailers (in combination with a towing vehicle), if the rearmost axle of the vehicle (or combination) has four tires or more, or at least two super single tires. They are not required on buses, pole trailers, motor homes, or truck tractors. In this section, "super single tire" means a wide-base, single tire that may be used in place of two standard tires on the same axle.

(b) Safety guards or flaps shall be located and suspended behind the rearmost wheels of such vehicle or if in combination behind the rearmost wheels of such combination to within eight inches of the surface of the roadway.

(c) A tolerance of four inches will be allowed.

(d) Safety guards or flaps shall be at least as wide as the tires they are protecting.

(e) When trailers and semitrailers are operated in combination with a towing vehicle, safety guards or flaps will be required on the rearmost axle of such combination.

(f) Safety guards or flaps shall be of metal, rubber, rubberized material, or other substantial material, capable of remaining in place back of rear wheels by their own weight or structure while the said vehicle is being operated.

(g) The construction of safety guards or flaps will be such that they will remain in proper place back of rear wheels and will be rigid enough to prevent slush, mud, gravel, and other roadway material or debris being transmitted from the vehicle's rear wheels to the windshield of the following vehicle.

(h) Safety guards or flaps should be securely mounted, as wide as the tire that it is protecting, not split or torn to the extent that it is ineffective and the bottom edge of the safety guard or flap shall be no more than 12 inches from the surface of the roadway while the vehicle is standing still, or otherwise not in motion.

(i) A flexible safety guard or flap may swing upwards and backwards while the vehicle is moving, so long as the safety guard or flap continues to block the trajectory of slush, mud, gravel, and other roadway material or debris which would otherwise be transmitted to the windshield of a following vehicle while both vehicles are in motion.

Rock Tamers. They are left on all the time. I’ve been using them since 2000 on different trucks with my fifth wheels since the first time I noticed the dents in the front caused by the stones kicked up. This even under the factory flaps mounted behind the tires.
