I towed like this for awhile!
J/K
I did however tow like this for 4 or 5 years. 89 GMC 1 ton SRW with a small 4800 dry 5er.
I like having the bed of the truck

I switched to a DRW starting this season. Before I towed with a SRW 2500 w/ air bags. Our 5er has a GVRW of 13,000. Our 2500 would tow locally ok. Within about 2-4 hrs. But our new dually is amazing! As a person who always had 2500's, my family has always had 2500's. I didn't see the reason for the dually. I was soooo wrong. It's night and day difference in stability. Towing is easier and more comfortable too with one. I wouldn't ever go back to a SRW unless I went away from the 5er. It's also my DD.

x2! Don't need it but it sure is nicer. Though mine is not a daily driver, at my current weight I might stay with SRW if it was my driver.

Chevy = pavement princess. Looks pretty, still under 400hp and 800 pounds of torque.

I use my dually as a daily driver and really haven't found it an issue at all. There are places that I am not sure I can go such as parking garages but my F450 sits as low or lower than my F250 did. It's just that most parking garages around here have very small parking spots width wise so guess I'd just have to take up two. The F350 DRW sits lower than the SRW with the 20" wheels. So, height wise I don't think it's an issue in most places.

Daily driver dually. The only issue I have ever had parking is due to length not width. When you have a crew cab with an 8' bed you run into that anywhere (including my own garage). I don't worry about parking, take up the space you need. Parking lots are private property, there is no law against taking multiple spots if you need to. I have NEVER found one that the dual wheels don't fit between. I typically back into spots, watch the lie in the mirror and bring the wheels in about 2" inside the lines. By backing in, any cars along side have the normal width of the front end of my truck when they park of leave. The rear fenders are far enough into the stall that they don't interfere with door opening of other cars as well.

Do you ever go in to any parking garages? I have not in my F450 but used to in my F250 so don't think it should be an issue. Right after I bought it we took the trailer to my daughters cheer competition in Galveston, TX. The event was at Moody Gardens, parking was in a garage, but as soon as I pulled in a guy told me I wouldn't fit and told me they had a spot for big trucks. It was great, all away from everyone else and just me and a few other F250's or similar trucks. I know some of the entrances to the parking garages can be narrow, that's what I'm concerned about. I think I'd fit in height wise but I do have the lights on top of the cab which adds a couple of inches.

dually all the way!
Got a hell of a deal on a 2004.5 Dodge dually a few months after I bought my first 33' travel trailer and now I am spoiled. Picked up a 38' Springdale a month ago and still cannot even hardly tell I am pulling anything even with the extra 5' and extra weight.

Went to a dually and haven't had a problem. Sure makes pulling that Montana 3610rl easier. Went through those recent storms in the Houston area with the rain and strong winds. What a difference than the F250. When I go into parking garages I just have the valet take care of where to put it.

I've been in a couple parking garages. I don't have any problems with height (other than the CB antenna). Parking ease depends on how wide the rows are and how well others park. Sometimes I just need to bypass a few spots to find one that I know I can get in and out of. One had a very narrow ramp, that caused more concern than the parking. I just took my time and watched everything close and I made it without incident.

You referring to the Amiri King videos? They are funny. BS, but funny. At least you have good taste in dirt bikes.
