Stuff for the TV

We went out to the storage yard today to get some stuff from the TT that we don't need. Hooked up the TV to the TT and opened the slide. Took care of business and then sat around and just admired the TT. We are stoked to get the maiden voyage under our belt. Came home and ordered power tow mirrors to replace the stock TV mirrors. Also order the transmission cooler along with a temp gauge. It's exciting to get stuff for the TT but also for the TV.

LOL. Always nice to have an excuse to buy more toys. I hope your trip is trouble free. Enjoy your new Camper.

Sounds good, that's my favourite Springdale trailer you have! Ever consider putting on a larger exhaust and maybe a cold-air intake? If I had a 7.3, I would.

Yes on the exhaust. Will have to look into the cold air intake idea.

Thanks!

Andy, I have afew points to make. On the gauges a pyro temp is also nice and if your putting on a tranny temp might as well do it. The Boost is not really all that important on that engine. Mine never goes over maybe 25. Aftermaket tranny cooler is good. Get one bigger than stock and put it center of the grill. The stock one is behind the bumper where the cut outs are. I put bigger exhaust and cold air intake on my 96 7.3 and maybe gained 2 mpg. Not sure how soon you will see it paid back. It did make the truck engine/exhaust more louder in the cab. I did add a cold air intake only on the current truck, I do not believe it made any change in mileage but, more air cannot hurt anything. I really outgrew the loud vehicles 30 years ago. I enjoy the radio and speaking to passagers. Good Luck, advise what you do and how it works.
