Looks like I'm getting new TV

Hi Everyone,

After completing my first year with my 2013 laredo 324rl, my wife and I have come to a conclusion. We think we should upgrade to a larger TV. We just think that we are pushing our 2000 silverado ls 2500 to the edge of its capabilities. I have my eye on a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Crew Cab 167" WB 4WD DRW LT. Does anyone have any experiences, good and bad, with this truck. I'm gonna look at this weekend.

I have a 2003 GMC 2500HD with the 8.1L engine and the Allison trans. Just love this rig with tons of power and never ever had any problems towing our Laredo 5th wheel over 8000 miles a year. Have heard of others with the 6.0 L and std trans that had trans problems and much slower on hills.

I have the 04 with diesel, its a world of difference than the 2500. I do however recommend checking the rear brake lines there is an issue with them rusting out behind the cab around the fuel tank. It happens instantly and is not a fun fix. Yes I know this from experience as it happened to me at 9 st night 3 hours from home in the middle of no where
