For me & where we tow it was a no brainer to go with the 6.4 Hemi Ram. 10k less upfront cost & the maintenance expense of owning a new diesel vehicle wasn't worth it . Here in the Texas Hill country diesel goes for 40 cents more a gallon . We tow a 12,000 lb 34 ft Montana 5th wheel with zero issues
Mike, You list your location as Galveston. How does Galveston (FLAT FLAT FLAT) get into the Texas Hill Country? Just curious....

“ The Texas Hill Country is west of Austin and the north of San Antonio, and sits on the Edwards Plateau and the Balcones Escarpment, with the perimeter loosely defined as the area bounded by Interstate 35 on the east, Texas Hwy 29 on the north, US 90 to the south, and US 83 on the west.”
Ah, probably 250 miles away. Just around the corner by Texas standards!

I don't recall any hills in the Hill Country. I live in the Hill Country, btw...
