LCD TV Mount Location Bogus

I have a 2019 300BHS. I went to install the tv mount exactly where the sticker says to and drilled right through the side of the camper. Nothing there to latch into. Has anyone else had this issue? Can't figure out why it says that there is a mounting spot there when there isn't.

Welcome to the forum

Often times the backer is a metal plate and not a chunk of wood. Sorry to hear you drilled all the way through the wall. Was it an exterior wall?
