MasterTrack tires

I have a dilemma. The tire shop I have been doing business with for 30 years can't get Maxxis tires. They have been selling MasterTrack ST tires for 5 or 6 years and have a good track record with them. They are 10 ply rated and run at 80 pSI. They have the same weight limit as the same size Maxxis. I really don't want to buy tires elsewhere but need to know if anyone has used this brand and were they Ok.

You could easily go online and purchase the Maxxis, have them delivered directly to your dealer, and then pay him to install them on your trailer. It's done all the time, and then you won't have to worry about an unknown brand tire. If sending them to your dealer doesn't work for you, have them sent directly to yourself.

Why not just go with Bob's idea of ordering online and then pay your bud to install and balance them? Or go to American Tire and Wheel in Hot Springs....

Ever think about going with a LT instead? I read a couple of comments on either amazon or tire rack regarding the dates on the Maxxis tires. A few buyers complained that the tires they received were already 2 years old.

I have Mastertracks on my Cougar which are 2 years old. Had to replace one a couple of weeks ago due to tread separation. Fortunately I caught it before it came apart and caused damage. Pro rated also.

I had Mastertracks on my last trailer, a lightweight Trail-Lite with no problems.

Ran the original Goodyear Marathons for eleven years on the Trail-Lite with no problems also. They were beginning to dry rot and crack.
