Media storage

We just bought a 2002 Laredo. So far we are having fun making it our own.
My question is,has anyone ever made media storage out of the cabinets under the tv?
Are the sidewalls thick enough to add shelves and DVD storage ?
Any ideas would be great.

Have you considered putting the DVDs in a binder?

We ended up buying a CD Binder and putting our DVDs in it, it takes up a lot less room than all the DVD cases would. Plus it makes it easy to transport DVDs from home to the camper and vise versa.
