Rear entertainment question

One of the reasons we bought our 3500RE was the hidden tv. I like the big screen tv and the dw likes that it can hide away to give an unobstructed view out the rear window. I was noticing that when the tv raises up or down that plastic rollers are rubbing against the door that conceals the tv. I was trying to think of something to install that would protect the door but not look to gaudy. I thought about a brass door kick guard or a clear plastic film of some kind. Any ideas out there that others have done?

Mine rolls against the underside of the door too. This underside seems to have less finish and no gloss like the topside does. As a result, I don't think it will leave marks. I suppose only time will tell.

My wife also likes the tv and the open window. I got some small rubber bands and made a couple wraps on the wheels. Works awsome!

Ours has a white nylon or plastic strip on the back side of the lid.
