Awning won't close properly

I need to know if anyone knows how to adjust an awning. First it's a 18' electric awning. The fabric rolls up just fine nice and straight. When it's completely closed one side is still about 1" or so away from the trailer. The arms are straight and no obstructions. I can push it closed from on top of the trailer so I know it'll close just seems to be off a little. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I actually added some Velcro to the awning and mine no longer closes all the way. It travels fine so I have not worried about it.

If it's still under warranty I would have the dealer take care of the adjustment
IMO. That would just drive me nuts if were mine.

Open it and measure the front and rear seams. The front arm is powered and the rear isn't. Problem arises that cause the fabric (vinyl) to stretch at one end making the awning roll up as you describe.

By all means if it's under warranty, take it in and get the fabric replaced.
