This was my ladder in the “out” position. The lower pivots had pins with pull rings. The way it is in this pic, you would pull the pins, then push up and in and it folds tight against the side. You reinsert the pins to secure it in the folded position. Not saying this is how yours is, but this was mine.

Your photo reminds me of one I saw on Amazon for a Chinese made RV water filter. It showed a happy family camping around their RV, from which a standard size RV water filter extended horizontally straight out from the wall, with the hose hanging from the end of it. It had to have been photoshopped, because any attempt to assemble that arrangement for a live photo would've torn the port right out of the wall.

Along with that 90, use a "feeder" hose from the rig to the main hose. I got mine on amazon. Not sure if it's feeder hose, leader hose? It is about 5 foot in length, and that will reduce the weight by a ton. Just a thought.
