2019 cougar sabwe dual battery wiring

I made the horrible mistake of unhooking the batteries in my 2019 cougar sabwe then buying new ones only to realize the different post locations I camt remember which wires go where. There is 2 black on the left, 2 red on the right and 1 red jumper. I have searched the net and all the forums with zero luck finding wiring the same as this. Any help would be much appreciated!

If you have 2 12V batteries:

Jumper Positive from battery A to Positive battery B

Jumper Negative from battery A to Negative battery B

Trailer positive lead to positive on battery A

Trailer negative lead to Negative on battery B

Exactly like Chuckster said, but in your picture you should have another black cable to go from negative to negative on the batteries. That red cable goes positive to positive between batteries. Black wire on the left to negative on battery to trailer frame (ground). Red wires on the right to positive on battery to power trailer.

I would turn 1 battery around so that all the posts are all on the same side.
That way you do not have negative(-) and positive(+) wire crossing each other.
Just my 2c.

Looks as though it ( the - jumper is hanging off the far left corner of the left bat box.

The black jumper would have a ring terminal on each end. If you don't have that then it's been lost. To connect two 12vdc batteries in parallel you need two jumpers, red positive post to other positive post, one black jumper from negative post to negative post of the other batter. Then the red cable going to the camper attaches to the positive post on one battery and the negative cable going to the camper goes to the OTHER battery negative post.

Every cable in the picture has a ring terminal on it. What's missing is, a black wire with a ring terminal like the red wire that's in a hand in the picture.
