Tire wear

Is it normal on my 2015 hideout to wear out tires on the back axles on the inside edges. Tires are bad in a few thousand miles. No matter what brand.

Sounds like a bent axle…I would think if the axles are misaligned the tires wouldn’t wear on both insides but rather one inside and one outside edge…others may chime in..I wonder if bad springs could cause that??

Bent or overloaded axle or could also involve weak springs.

When you look at the springs, they should have an upward curve and when you look at your axle it should have a slight upward arch in the middle. If springs are flat and/or the axle tube is straight or bowing downward in the middle, that will be your culprit.

Pay no mind to the broken spring hanger, but look at the axle tubes and you can see how they are “arched”. (This is on my Passport that I sold earlier this year). If you zoom in, you can also see the curve of the far multi-leaf spring stack.

You have a major issue. This is not normal. Find a HD truck repair facility with an alignment rack for trailers and have them go through the suspension.
