Last question, after your research what brand(s) do you lean towards ?

I think I am replacing before I store her for the winter, one last trip on the Raniers !

In that size tire I would get Carlisle Radial Trail HDs. I've owned them and they never gave a problem of any kind. Many, many members here use them as well. Goodyear Endurance makes them in your size as well but pricing is something like $175 for Goodyear and $112-115 for the Carlisles at Discount Tire. So far I've not seen anything that makes the Endurance that much better than other tires to warrant their high prices.

Yes Ranier tires.
After careful review of everyone’s feedback I decided to finish the season with the Raniers (being careful with tire pressures) and replacing this fall before next years trips.

Thank you for your feedback…

I think you have a reasonable plan. The only thing I would do different is to hold off on getting the new tires until the spring. The will have a newer 'born on' date, and won't be exposed to the weather all winter.

We store her in indoor climate controlled facility, tires should be OK sitting over Winter ? At least I will know if the valve stems leak huh ?

There were cautions in several of the ST tire websites stating that the ozone produced by electric motors can damage the tires over the winter if parked too close. So, if that "indoor climate controlled facility" has a furnace or a ventilation fan close to your trailer, the ozone produced by the electric motors may damage your tire rubber compound.

Rainer ST Tires

First trip with my newly purhased 2024 Montana High Country 373RD with Rainer St Tires was to escape Hurricane Milton. On the way back to Tampa, even though the tire didn't go flat, the tread separated from the tire. The result was a destroyed wheel well and even knocked off my middle Jack Pad. I traded in a Keystone Cougar 316RLS that had Goodyear Endurance and also had them on a Grand Design Travel Trailer and never had any trouble. A few miles on Rainer and this happens! Only problem is Goodyears don't come in Load Range G.

Exactly the reason I had them remove the OE Raniers before I ever left the lot. Look into Sailun S637 tires. I put those on (LRG) and they have been great. Lots of good reviews on them

Close friends have a 2025 Montana Legacy and that's what came on theirs. I wasn't happy when I saw what came on it and planned on getting rid of them. The hurricane made it necessary to make a quick trip, but what a huge disappointment to have a brand new rig damaged because of a china bomb tire. I sent the photos to the dealership today to get all the damaged repaired under warranty since it's 3 weeks since purchase ... and a new tire. Just posting so folks can be aware of the risks with keeping them.

The trip is certainly understandable. Hopefully all is well after the storm. Reckon the dealership would contribute the cost of a new tire toward the cost of replacing the Raniers? I know the feeling of disappointment. My first big trip in our last new trailer one of the Trailer Kings went boom 42 miles from home and caused 7k in damages....not what you hope for.

Camping World says tire damage, no matter how new, not covered under warranty. Keystone says Tire Company is responsible. I started a claim with Tredit.com today as they are the distributor of Rainer in the US ... I'll up date as I go.

Tires are covered under the OE tire warranty. Damage from a tire failure is not warranty in anything I've ever been involved in. When my tire failed on an almost new (in warranty) trailer and caused 7k in damages it was insurance....the seller/manufacturer has nothing to do with that kind of damage.
