We have a 2023 Cougar 290RLS and are having the same issues with two AC's. Where did you find your old school vents that fit into the blade air vents holes?

I am new to this so what do you mean by blade style vents? Our vents are circles that push up and down in the ceiling.

Thanks! That's exactly what I wanted to see. That's my next upgrade. My main AC could not keep up with the heat because I think, the blade vent is choking my air flow. IMO

There vents like the one shown come in a variety of opening sizes. Remove one and get the opening size. Also, the area where the vent fits in the ceiling is likely not sealed very well. Buy a roll of HVAC tape and re-tape all the openings. Much of the cold air finds its way into the ceiling. An RV-Airflow assembly in the main AC box (inside part) also helps seal the air in and will increase airflow.

The (only) nice thing about the Blade vents is that the housing itself has a recessed ring that the duct seals into so there is a tight seal where it goes into the duct and no need for tape. In my search for a replacement, I removed one complete assembly and nearly destroyed the duct and the ceiling trying to get it out. If I had replaced the Blade housing, I would have then had to tape/seal around whatever I replaced it with. So I reinstalled the Blade housing, made sure the duct re-seated into the housing, and then found a closable, rotatable, louvered grill that just snapped into the existing Blade housing.

If you think the vent is the problem, then why not remove them ALL temporary and leave all the vents wide open. See if that will cool the camper down before you go out and start spending money on stuff that might not be the problem.
