Anyone towing with a Pro Series hitch
I purchased a pro series hitch with one sway bar control. I had one before and it worked great.. just wondering if anyone has experience using this system on a larger trailer.

I am using one, but your trailer is larger than mine. I would agree, it does work great but then again I haven't put it to much testing so who knows.
I am assuming its the friction plate your referring to, and I can't help much there. The dealer set it up for me, but a couple of 20 mile runs don't tell you much.

I use the same hitch setup. The dealer installed it for me and I later added another sway bar on the left side after taking our maiden voyage of about 120 miles. My TT is a 28BHSWE and I wasn't getting any real sway even though on our way home we hit about 15-20 mile per hour side winds off the ocean. We got a little sway when passed by large 18 wheelers, but that went away soon after they passed. I added another soon after that trip and will need to drive more with it to make adjustments. The WDH works well and keeps my truck and TT level with a 720 lb dry hitch weight.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you guys get a lot of noise when turning from the friction bars..and is that normal...and does anyone know if it goes away with time...my old friction bar didn't do it..but this one is loud.

Generally yes there should be noise. If no noise, it's too loose. That means the friction pads are doing their job and placing friction against the draw bar. By the way, a TT over 25' should have two friction bars.

I have heard from SEVERAL users that over 25 feet needs two friction bars. Too bad Dealership doesn't know there own products.

Looks like 4 holes in the frame...and put the ball on the hitch...does it come with all hardware needed? And does it have to be the same exact distance as the other..I am guessing yes on that one.

It's actually 6 holes in the trailer frame. The distance between the trailer coupler is 24" on center to the center of the little ball on the frame. Really easy install. Here's what I installed. Came with all hardware needed.

When I buy the second one...do I buy a left handed one to make sure that the handle faces forward and not behind it?

I had the pro series with 2 friction sway control for our 303. Once I dialed in the weight, it towed just fine. I did upgrade to a Hensley, just wanted the best insurance against sway.

There are no true left handed friction bars. Just remove the draw bar and reinsert upside down. The graphics and tightening bar will be upside down, but it works just fine.

that is why these forums are so great..never even though of pulling the friction bar out to flip over. I thought about upgrading to better system..but if $40 gets me to a solid safe system..why spend $500 on a new one.
thanks again.
