winter storage

just winterized the trailer what about the batterys should i just leave the trailer pluged in all winter or remove batterys and put them in the garage

I also removed the battery from the camper. I also remove all of the back up batteries, such as smoke alarm and such from the camper too. I place the camper battery on a trickle charger in the garage to maintain the battery in the winter months.

I top off the water and leave the trailer plugged in all winter. As long as you have a three stage converter/charger you should not have a problem. I have be doing this for about 15 years and have never cooked a battery yet. I check the water twice a year and it seldom takes any. JM2˘ , Hank
