Modifying Access to under bed Storage Bullet

We have modified the access to one side of the under bed storage on our Bullet so that you no longer have to lift the Bed up.. It now has a sliding door on the side for easy access.

door side of trailer.

What you will need.
1. Large Screw driver
2. quick grip glue and gun.
3. Pair of cutter or pliers.
4. 10' 3/4 x 3/4 pine corner molding.
5. Saw.

How to complete the job.
1. Turn bed side ways.
2. Carefully pull the the plastic corner at the top towards the window. The panel should start to come loss if not use screw driver between plastic and corner not the panel side.
3. once its started to come loss open the storage are from the top and work your way round with the screw drive until the panel is free. Take your time.
4. Once panel is removed mark front the front edge on the back side.
5. Remove all staples that are left on the frame so that its smooth.
6. Remove any staples that are left in the panel by pulling the all the way though. don't push then out the front this will damage the panel.
the plastic corner should be off as well. Put the panel to the side.
7. Measure and cut a new corner using the 3/4 x 3/4 pine the glue into place.
8.measure and install corning around the inside of the frame to build out the frame about 1/4"
9. cut a piece of cornering the length of the top and bottom from back to front. then glue into place. The top piece should should have the L facing down and should slide just into the gap that you built out. The bottom should facing up and slide between the built out bottom and floor.
10. You will now nee to cut about 1/2" off the bottom of the panel once this is done it should slide into the new slot.
11. Add a handle and wood trim to the front of the panel.
12 you are done.

Awesome! That’s where we throw our dirty clothes. I’ll have to see if there’s a clever way implement your mod as a hamper.

That is a nice mod. I can't stand to lift the bed. Its such a pain and I have been thinking of ways to change up the access. Thanks for the idea.
