We always have a can of Ajax with us for ants. Pour a continuous circle around each point of contact with the ground. Found ant's don't like to cross that line.

We had an ant infestation while at Myrtle Beach (sandy soil). It happened so quickly and was awful. We bought some ant traps, and now our defense is that we never leave trash in the camper - after each meal we empty it right away. They can get in so easily. They march right through the hose and wire openings.

We had the black ant problem couple years back rv was in my driveway at the house. Didn't want to spray inside so I sprayed corpoplast and landing gear extention cord going to rv. And few ant traps inside. So every summer the outside rv gets sprayed. Problem solved when we dry camp with ants around we haven't had any problems.

We go to the dollar store and get a couple bottles of pine sol and mix it with 50% water and splash it all around outside and under the camper as best we can. Also wipe down the table we set our grill on and the picnic table cover real good. Ants hate the stuff!

Tea -tree oil kills them dead in their tracks within seconds. Wipe your floors and cupboards with it and you'll never see them again

We got an infestastion and I used ant spray and hit all along the edge between the floor and walls and all the openings I could find inside and out. Did the trick.

Ant traps and spray everywhere. It took about 6 months to finally clear out our infestation.

We has ants last trip, not sure if it was the campground or our yard. We bought bait traps. A couple days later I brought in a bag of black bear candy and started eating it in the house when suddenly I looked in the bag and there were ants. Just gross. Went through all the food and and sprayed the area with raid.

I bought this gel, it killed them all. The toughest part is being patient while they swarm to eat it. Few hours later the are all dead and have never returned.

As a former certified exterminator, I can tell you that the only reliable way to eliminate ants is through baiting. Sprays and barriers are probably fine for a temporary solution, but can often make the problem worse. Ants will simply relocate....especially if you're in a nest of Pharaoh Ants.
