I’ve had mine do the same when I use my Anderson jack blocks and the campground site is nose high. The system can’t get to the nose down position before the travel of the front jacks run out. Corrected by re-hitching and using less or no blocking under the jacks.

Ok. I'll give that a try.

It worked! I removed a layer of blocks (I had two 4x6" blocks on top of each other) and with the single 3.5" block under the front, the auto level started working again. I think the laboring motor sound I was hearing was the system trying to retract the front jacks even though they were already fully retracted.

Thanks for the help!

Dave

Level up dips the front and then autolevels the trailer. I’ve never had it fully retract the landing gear before leveling. You may have a software glitch.
Chuckster....sorry for the late reply. I think you may have misunderstood what I stated. I've NEVER had the trailer dip all the way down to the point that the landing gear was fully retracted. But twice, the ones I mentioned above, when the trailer was below level, the system faulted and I had to reset it, then raise the trailer above level for the auto level to perform the leveling process.
