Replacement Bathroom Fan Motor

Does anyone have a link to the correct replacement bathroom fan motor for a Bullet 220RBI? I ordered a 6" fan kit from Amazon but the motor is too big. It's nothing fancy - just a fan mounted in the vent. It's a Ventline brand.

I believe the Heng fan will work.

If you have a Ventline fan, the plug may not work with some other brand. I replaced my Ventline fan in a camper (can't recall if was this one or the last or the one before that or.... well my memory ain't what it used to be!)

This is the motor I was able to purchase from Amazon last year for our Ventline exhaust fan. Just make sure it spins the right way before you complete the connections. The fan just pushes onto the shaft. The motor comes with new screws and wire leads.

Instead of replacing the motor you might want to upgrade to a Heng Vortex One or Two. Not expensive but much more flow. The Vortex One with a PWM controller makes a great exhaust fan.

I replaced mine last weekend. I simply keyed in the brand and model # and found one on Amazon and had it next day.

I installed it from inside in 2 minutes - so simple. The replacement has NO LEAD markings so you have a 50/50 shot at getting it to spin the right way the first time (I got lucky).

If it blows in instead of out - reverse the wires - they are made to spin both ways. All you need is a Phillips. Pull off the friction fitting fan blade - pop out the 2 screws and it will lift above.

3X!
we did this also, install is quick and it moves far more air than the little 6" fan blade.

Thanks all! Great suggestions here. I have more research to do. In the meantime Amazon took the incorrect fan back.

I went with this:

eTrailer Fan Motor

$30 is a lot for what it is, but I just wanted a direct replacement for now. I may upgrade to a better fan in the future. Our first trip out with this new-to-us trailer is Columbus Day Weekend so I'll know whether it's adequate or not after that trip.
