Living in Arizona, I have found museum putty kind of melts and doesn't hold much of anything.

WOW, how hot does your rig get inside?

I wonder if different brands might have different melting points?

I know in the southeast we can use asphalt shingles whereas in Arizona the shingles would be running like syrup off the roof!

It's not quite hot enough to melt the shingles (yet), it's hot though!
You don't want to pick up anything metal that's been laying in the sun for a few minutes & you won't be walking barefoot across the driveway unless you're one of those mind over matter types.
But we'll probably be wearing shorts & tee shirts at Christmas time, which to me is way better than 2-5' of snow while all bundled up like the presents under the tree.
