? Cell phone booster - for Verizon ?

Campground we recently stayed at had horrible reception. A stand on one leg facing the north, arm facing west, you get the picture!!! Hahaha
This was For All providers.
Which I kinda liked, however, wife was nervous with the kids at home.
Anyway
Who has one of these boosters?
Do they work? If so, How well?
Are they specific for TT's? Do you mount them to the wall? Ceiling? On the outside, for best reception?
Portable ones? Could you take it out of the tt, put it in the boat?
Is this a one time purchase? Monthly fee/subscription?
Average cost?
Sorry for all the questions

We have a verizon “extender” in our house. It uses internet for phone service. You have to have a verizon simm card to use it. It works good if you have internet.

We have a home booster from Samsung. It requires 110v AC and must be connected by a LAN cable to the internet router/gateway. It boosts incoming signals and outgoing signals go out through the internet.

On the road, we have a Wilson WeBoost 4G LTE. It runs off 12v DC, has an outside antenna and an inside antenna and up to 5 devices can connect at once. It will boost an existing signal usually by a bar or two, but it will not create a signal where there is none to begin with.

Both are a one time purchase between $300-$500 with no other fees associated

We bought the weboost RV. It normally gives us a couple extra bars. We have been in some spots where the phone said no service and I’ll get a couple bars with the weboost.

Where I have a weak signal it will improve, the key is getting the outside antenna as far away from the inside antenna as possible.
I have the outside antenna on an extendable pole like for washing windows. At 2’ above the ladder I get a couple extra bars, but at 4-6’ above the ladder I also get data, slow, but I still get it.

80% of the time it improves our signal. It doesn’t seem to be improved enough to handle streaming videos.

I would recommend it to anyone!

I have a Wilson Weboost Drive Sleek OTR. It definitely boosts a low signal to a usable one. DB gain 20+ db. Only deploy when needed. We use our truly unlimited data plan both at home and when on the road. Attached a portable router so all of our devices can connect.. No problem streaming. Much better than most Campground WiFi.
