slideout friction pads?

I notice on our Fuzion main slideout has what looks like a second layer of the same material that covers the bottom of the slideout as a friction pad (about 4" wide, two strips each about 5' long).

the strip close to the garage has deteriorated to the point the adhesive is getting tracked all over the carpet inside.

What to replace this with? I would think a strip of Teflon or mylar would do the trick. Any one delt with this and what was the fix?
