keystone touchpanel for pop outs not opening popouts

We have a 2013 keysone 5er 333mks when we bought it im pretty sure the pop outs opened by using the touch panel. Now they only open with the remote. Is there a way to fix that?

Two issues may be at play here...

One is if you use the remote to open or turn on then you need to use the remote to close or turn off. Just a quirk of the remote.

The other is a bad panel, and that can be checked easily by disconnecting from shore power and disconnecting the battery negative cable for a minute. Then retrying the panel. There are several threads on the forum about defective Cougar panels and how folks have dealt with same.

Are there not any fuses behind the panel?

"shore power" is the term used for being plugged in to 120VAC. I haven't ran into this issue at work, so I can't comment too much about the panel, and have never owned a trailer with any type of remote other than the stereo and TV.

my panel or computer in the front hatch had a failure this year as well. At first the remote was the only thing that would work to get the slides out. But after a while that stopped working as well. So my dealer worked with Keystone and they replaced the panel with a switch panel instead of touch (looks great too) and that still didnt work so the computer was also replaced up front with the same looking board, and everything including the remote work fine now. No problems since.
