While I do appreciate anyone who is succinct, I think you missed the point. This TT and TV belong to an unknown person/family. Mine are in my signature.
If my TT and TV looked like this, I wouldn't be putting it on the forum and asking the KFWP (Keystone Forum Weight Police) for their opinion.

Honda Ridgeline tows as good as any front wheel drive midsize vehicle or minivan.
I wouldn’t recommend it, but the factory says you can and many do.

It won't tow too well. With most of the weight gone from the front tires, and being front wheel drive, he might find himself in a pickle in the right situation.

In my mind this comes under the "yea it can tow, but should it." The proof is it was driven on the road to get there. But how well and safe did the TV do. I suspect the driver if asked will say, "I haven't had a problem, it tows just fine." Neither statement has any merit without details.

We had an '07 Ridgeline that we absolutely loved. I especially loved the ease of maintenance and the ride quality.

What I didn't love was towing. We had an '09 Passport that weighed 3860 dry. The truck towed great until 63 mph. With no Tow/Haul the trans started searching. Also at that time Honda didn't want WD hitches at the time.

William, since you have a wife AND a dachshund I expect you'll do what they say. I've had a wife AND a dachshund at the same time for years on end and I know these things!

I'm not a tow police member, however if memory serves me right, the Honda Ridgeline is a unit body construction and I was always told NOT to use a WDH with a unit body vehicle. Something about too much torque on the unit body.
