converter problem?

I am in a campground 200 miles from dealer.have lost all interior lights- fridge but tv and all outlets work.have checked fuses and breakers dose anyone know where there would be another place for a converter fuse or another possible problem.thank you i have a 2012 avalanche waiting for dealer or keystone to open

sometimes there is a automotive style fuse on the inverter

CHECK ON THE CONVERTER IT'S SELF SOMETIMES THERE ARE FUSES THERE GOOD LUCK. Sorry about the caps i was not yelling!!! just forgot

fuse

I had the same problem and i replaced fuse on converter and all is well

Locate the CONVERTER. There are two automotive 40 amp fuses on the bottom of the converter that protect reverse polarity. If these are good, your converter is probably bad. Temporarily you can hook up a battery charger to the battery and you will be able to complete your trip.
Also, make sure the wire lugs are tight entering the converter. Mine were loose and caused some arching and shorting, blowing the fuses.

Thank you for all the help problem solved two bad fuses on converter. keystone was pretty helpful today with problem they told me 2 wrong places converter was but found it myself but must say tried to solve the problem in a timely manner.

Now the problem begins ...... What caused the fuses to blow and why?

The fuses are to protect the converter from reverse battery polarity. The battery was hooked up in reverse that's what my book says anyway
