Hello From Gulf Shores

Hello, We have purchased a OUTBACK 342CG for our short travels. We have been full timers since 2011. Starting out in Washington State and currently in Gulf Shores, AL for the winter. We like this unit because I'm disabled and use a wheelchair. Looking forward to getting back out hiking with my wife again

Howdy and welcome!

That mobility machine you have there looks to be the perfect tool to be able to accompany your DW on hikes.

Enjoy and stay safe!

Welcome WL! Do you have any issues navigating that tracked chair inside the camper? It looks a bit wider than a standard wheel chair. Has your camper had any mods for this sort of thing?

It's 30"w x 57"l x 57" tall. 400lbs. The plan is straight in and straight out. It's still on order for April delivery. We spent last summer asking park rangers and others if it's okay for the state parks and beaches. Everyone has said bring it. The wheel chairs can be made bigger. We have purchased the OUTBACK 342cg.

Fellow Outback CG Owner!

Nice choice on the Outback! We bought the 335CG with the rear cargo door, but the 342CG was a serious contender

Love the mobility tracker...what a great idea! If it covers 3 to 4 mph on most terrain, you should be 100% GTG...plus think of the excellent lunch spreads you can carry!

The mobility chair looks awesome to be able to get out on trails or Beach that traditional chair could not do well.
Hope the 342CG gives you access to rest of trailer (using something smaller) as two interior door ways appear wider than most trailer plans.
Hope you enjoy your new purchases and able to get outside more.

Another welcome from sunny AZ! The optional faux howitzer would be a great addition to ward off any trouble and it's a great conversation starter.
