No room for Dish Wally receiver

Hello, we have a Keystone Bullet 250BHS. The entertainment center has a cabinet above the tv, an opening for the flat screen tv, a shelf under the tv that holds the remotes, and then another cabinet.

Everything is 7" deep. The tv completely fills the opening.

In order to use our Dish Playmaker, we have to hook up the Wally receiver. We need a depth of about 11" to hold it. The stove is on the other left side of the entertainment center and the entry door is to the right so putting a shelf on either side is not an option.

Does anyone have a solution? Thanks for any suggestions.

Tough without a photo.

How TALL is the upper cabinet? Could you rig up "slotted feet" to hold your Wally on end?

How deep is the cabinet below?? Looks to be at least 20" deep, remote shelf likely has a false back and can be opened up.

My artistic skills are crap, but if you're a do-it-yourselfer, just make two of these "feet" out of lightweight wood or plastic. Leave enough space on the bottom to give the cables room to run. Slide them on and off your Wally when you hit the highway.

To expand on what Russ said, the receiver remote is RF so you can place the Wally anywhere you want and just run the coax wherever you need it to go. I have two cabinets above my TV and have the Wally and a small form factor PC in one of the cabinets. I drilled a hole big enough to run coax up to the Wally and HDMI cables back to the TV for the Wally and PC. I even have a HDMI Splitter and ran a 25' HDMI cable to the Bedroom TV.

Thanks for the responses! There is a pantry behind the unit but I didn’t want to cut anything unless I had to. I really appreciate the suggestions.

I mounted my Wally vertically behind the TV using 2 nylon straps, like what you'd find on backpacks, screwed them to the wall. Its very clean and light weight.

We mounted Wally to wall behind TV with heavy duty velcro. Has been through two campers and 10 years and hasn't moved yet.
