In Command will not leave cell phone

Surely one does not have to turn the phone off to get rid of the in command app after using. That seems to be the only way I can get it off my phone after using. Can anyone help.

Airlift 5000 bags, Prodigy brake control, 5 gauges on the pillar.Used to tow a '97 Jayco 323RKS.

Now an RVIA registered tech. Retired from Law enforcement in 2008 after 25+ yrs.

if you have a iphone you simply swipe up on the app and that closes it
