Wet Water Pump Area

Getting about 1 cup leakage in area every day. About the same whether I use water pump or city water. Tightened all connections I can reach. Been happening for about 3 weeks. Any thoughts? Thanks.

There are many connections back there. Depending on the trailer, could be multiple types of connections. Water leaks can be difficult to find, but what I’ve found helps is to dry it all out and then lay paper towels down. Keep an eye on it until a wet spot starts to form. That will lead you to either the leak directly or at least the low spot on the line that is leaking that you can follow up to the connection. I’ve had some that were just a matter of tightening a connection, others that required replacing the connection.

Re-did the screw fitting into the water pump in case it was cross-threaded. Still leaking near there. Is Teflon tape an option for those screw fittings? Problem could also be led and related clamp nearby.

I meant pex and related fitting.

If the trailer has been winterized and is just now being "made ready for use" I'd check the water pump head. Lots and LOTS of pump head cracks can cause the same problems you've got. It may be a crack, a blown gasket, a crossthreaded fitting, messed up threads that no longer seal or ?????

If there's a leak at a fitting from damaged threads, I'd not recommend teflon tape to stop the leak.
