2014 Passport Propane Regulator

What’s life span for a regulator ? Possibly I have the original. My HW heater is taking longer to lite. Both tanks ( new hoses ) are on along with stove burner and both HW switches. I know regulators very affordable. Any ideas ?
Thanks !

I sold my previous fiver with the original regulator that was over 13 yrs old.

With the current supply chain issues I would definitely be sure it’s failed before replacing.

Never known a propane tank regulator to die a slow death. They either work or stop working. No in-between. I could be wrong, but I've never heard a regulator slow death before.

Ours would run stove and HW heater, but would only fire the furnace for like 2 seconds. Replaced and all worked great.

You can test the gas pressure at any appliance and adjust the regulator, BUT THAT REQUIRES a manomoter and an understanding of gas pressures.
