Recognize this part?

Not trailer related at all, at least I hope not. Not my trailer, at any rate. But this is the only venue I have with access to gearheads.

Found this part 1/4 mile down our gravel driveway road. Looks like some sort of suspension part, too small (about 2.5" square) to be major automotive, but maybe from an ATV or a tool of some type.

The black body is rubber/canvas-ply sandwich. The hook part on top is bent, but I suspect not factory-bent. It looks like the hook deformed, and whatever was mounted through the open hole split the rubber on the way out.

I'd hate to be running whatever this came from without whatever this is, but I just have no idea what it is.

It appears to me to be a piece of exhaust hanger from a vehicle exhaust system.

It looks like an adaptation of some type of exhaust hanger. Possibly from an ATV or a UTV ??? Here are some photos I found that look similar. The last one is from a VW exhaust system.
