Shower faucet

Can someone tell me how to remove this shower faucet? Want to check if I have water leaking behind the faucet. Have had trouble with a water leak from shower. Trying to figure out where. Is there a diagram or link to disassemble. Don’t see access panel.

those 4 screws on the face plate will release the faucet from the wall. there might be a bit of clear caulk on it.

There are 4 screws in the corners of the faucet (you can see them in your first picture). Once you remove them, and the caulking around them, the entire assembly can be pulled away from the wall (slightly). It's been awhile since I've had to do this, so this is based on my (aging and sometimes faulty) memory!
