Hybrid canvas plastic splitting

Looking for advice and seeing if anyone has had this problem.......
We have a 1650ex Bullet Hybrid that is still under warranty (up August 11th) and the front bunk end canvas plastic where it attaches to the trailer is splitting in the top right corner. The claim was submitted but denied by Keystone as "incidental damage". Anyway, is there anyway to repair this without replacing? Currently, the split is under the rain gutter so even though I can see daylight from the inside no water is getting in. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

It is currently at Camping World so I can't get a picture but it is the plastic that the canvas is sewn to and that tucks into the track attaching it to the camper. The plastic has cracked creating hole.

Is like this plastic trim around the bed opening. If so I would just order a new piece of trim and replace it. Check out Treckwood RV.

No, it is the plastic that the canvas is actually sewn to that connects it to the trailer.

You might try some eternabond tape on it. Not sure if it will work but it might.

Either Eternabond or JB plastic weld. that might do the trick as well.

when we bought ours camping world tore ours and they submitted for a claim and it was denied so they are having their vinyl guy come out to repair. If they cant repair it then they will resubmit it was they told me. I will let you know if the guy was able to repair ours as it is at the shop now.

Can anyone give any advise on how to cool that back bunk better. I use the bunk end covers but getting air back there is not easy

You are posting to a thread nearly 2 years old. I'd suggest starting a new thread in the future as you may get more replies.

Let me first say if CW did the damage they need to fix it, period.

You can get bunk fans and combination bunk fans and lights that clip on to the top support pole for the canvas. Google fan for pop up camper and you will find them. One example https://colemanpopupparts.com/products/fan-light-combo

We sold our Hybrid but when we had it we use a product from this website. https://www.popupgizmos.com/ The owner is very good to work with and he will ship the exact size based on your trailer it made a huge difference. Also we add the shiny silver thin insulation from Home depot that we cut to fit in the window opening between the screen and cover it is called Reflectix. With these two changes it made a huge difference in the trailer.
