Balance 101:

But I usually requested Navy standard.

Re: Balancing

This is where the wheels on my Cougar came from. BTW they are rated for 80# and the question of going from LR E to LRG brought the following response:
"The wheels you have on your coach are only rated to handle 80 PSI, so inflating a tire to anything above that on those wheels would void any warranty for the wheel itself. 16 inch 6 lug wheels are only rated to handle 3200# and are not suggested to be kept at the 110psi no matter of wheel style."

All LRG steel cased 16” tires need to be fitted to a high load capacity wheel with steel valve stems and able to withstand the full tire load capacity and the maximum cold inflation pressure of 110 PSI. Such tires are approved for a single rim size, 16X6.5” , that includes the GY G614.

Here is a reference for the G614 specs;
http://www.goodyearrvtires.com/tire-selector.aspx

Here is a reference for a typical wheel/rim for all of such tires.
http://sendelwheel.com/wheels/tr8.html

I post this information quite often. The rim width requirements are often overlooked. A well trained tire installer might know the correct size as well as the retail manager, but, some have been known to say this about a 6" wide rim fitment, "OH that's an OK fitment". Have them put it on paper.
