If it's an airtek (sp) brand with the fuzzy surface, about the only way to find it that I know of is soapy water in a spray bottle. The other problem is getting a patch to seal.
I never checked mine for the first 2 years I had my trailer, shame on me as I found it went flat the first time I had to use it.

Well, we threw ours out after several attempts. Purchased one from Target that came with the air pump, and it has been flawless!

Our Springdale had an inflatable bed. It would leak down overnight. I found that it was the "exhaust port" gasket that was leaking. The owner's manual had instructions for removing the gasket, cleaning it and reinstalling it. Once I did that, it would hold air for 2 or 3 days, but eventually, as with most air mattresses, it will need air "sooner or later". But we could get a complete night out of it after fixing the gasket.

We did almost the same thing but purchased one off of Amazon instead. It was close to the dimensions of the bed and the built in air pump is nice.

We have had our Cougar almost three years and have yet to use the air bed. This year our mods will include taking out that uncomfortable sofa with the air bed and replacing it with a more comfortable sofa. We have already replaced the awful swivel rockers with barrel chairs.
