Axle Serial # for Passport 2910BH

Hi! I can only make out the last 4 numbers on our passport 2910BH. Lucky us we have a bowed axle and have gone through tons of tires and now are trying to replace the axle, but I can't make out the rest of the numbers because of rust! Anyone know it?

You should have a "build sheet" in your owner's packet that lists everything in and on your RV. It will list the axles by model number and by serial number.

If by describing the "bowed" axle, you mean the "arch" from wheel to wheel, where the axle rises at the center, that is designed into the way the axle beam is constructed so when weight is applied, it flattens out and the wheels ride correctly. If there's some other "bow" in the axle, then it may be defective.

At any rate, your axles are listed on the build sheet. If you can't find it, Keystone has the original. You "should" be able to get a copy or at least the information you need by giving customer service a call during business hours.

Good luck.

A easy way to read the numbers is to get the area wet with a spray bottle of water, hold flash light to the side and angle beam onto the area. You can do better by useing wire bush over area than wet. Main point, putting a beam of light stright at the area will not help. The angle shows up shadows and picks up the ingraved letters or numbers.

I have the same camper. You have Dexter 3,500 lb axels. There were no serial numbers on ours ,just the Keystone order tag and lot number. If you replace the bent axel with the same axel you will wind up bending another one. The suspension is not heavy enough for the 7200 lb. GVWR. I weighed 6900 lbs when I bent ours on a I95 coming home from Disney World. I planed on keeping ours so I upgraded the springs and axels to 10,00 lbs. 5200 lb. axels, with 2500 lb. springs, and Dexter heavy duty shackels and wet bolts. Best mod I've made so far. This is an expensive upgrade so only consider it if you plan on keeping the trailer for a while.
