Fresh Water Capacity

On site information states the Cougar 278RKS has a 60 Gal. fresh water capacity, the capacity info on the cabinet door says my trailer has 41 gal. capacity. Is it possible to replace the existing tank with the larger 60 Gal?

It might, it might not.. usually they change the tank size for two reasons...

1. It don't fit

2. They ran out of the larger one...

Or a possible third reason: Engineering realized that with 60 gallons of water onboard, an axle or tires or hitch would be overloaded, so Keystone "reserves the right to make changes during the model year without changing the advertising material"

My manufacturer sticker with the build date and gross weight also lists the weight of full freshwater and water heater tanks. Oddly enough, for mine, the Hot and Cold tank weights add up to my actual full freshwater tank weight. Yes, I've eyeballed my freshwater tank's capacity stamp.
