Table won't slide open

I have a 2021 Outback 330RL that the table will not slide open. Anyone else have this problem?

Welcome to the forum

Can you post a couple of pics, it might help members understand how your table is supposed to work.

Hi Tim and welcome to the forum!

Not sure about your Outback, but the table in our Alpine won't slide open unless the small strap that secures it is unsnapped.

The strap is located under the table top on the left side.

Hope this helps!

I will take a couple of pictures tomorrow. When I bought the TT new last year, the dealer couldn't get it to open either. We didn't have the opportunity to wait for them to repair it as we were moving into it full time. I can see the leaf in there, but can't figure out how to get it open...

Dinettes typically have one of two types to open them. Either it slides open and has a strap underneath the table to hold the two sides together or it lifts out of a locking block and opens. If you look under the table if there isn’t a short clear plastic strap with a snap on one end, then it doesn’t slide open, try lifting the outside half of the table and slide it open. It has to lift about 3/4 to clear the locking blocks that hold it together when closed. That is also how you access the storage under the table top.

Here are a few pictures of the table. It has the strap, but when unmatched still won't open.
