Pendant switch

I have a 2015 Keystone Cougar 301SAB,
I am just wondering if the unused pendant light switch is wired with power

Welcome to the forum

RV manufacturers don’t usually install a switch without it being wired to something. More information and a picture would sure help members give a more detailed answer.

I would remove the panel and look for wires attached to the switch.

Typically, all the manufacturers use a generic panel for several floorplans. Some trailers with 6 lights and/or 2 or 3 slides will use the majority of the switch cutouts on the panel. Other floorplans may only use 2 or 3 of the light switches and 1 or 2 of the slide cutouts.

Like Chuck suggested, remove the panel and see if there are wires connected to the back of the switch. On Keystone trailers, there is a "wiring color scheme" and the color of the wires attached to that switch (if there are wires) should give you some ideas on what the switch controls.

Here's the wiring code and a photo of one brand of trailers with a generic panel.
