2011 Cougar 5th Wheel LP Pigtail Help!

We have a 2011 Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel 318 SAB. We bought this 5th Wheel new and I need to replace both of the LP bottle Pigtail hoses as the internal valves are stuck closed on both.

Here’s the problem, one of my pigtails is the normal 1/4” male inverted flare but the other has a FF 3/8” female connector. I’m a bit baffled at the lack of information online about this. All we see available anywhere is the 1/4” male pigtails. Surely we don’t have the only RV with this setup??

On the driver side bottle ours connects to the Red 30 PSI fixed regulator then to the cross over pipe. This is where we have the Female 3/8” connector.

The passenger side also uses the same Female 3/8” connector from the cross over to a 1/4” male to the auto change over regulator. The bottle on that side uses the normal 1/4” male pigtail.

Where can we get a replacement pigtail for the driver side?? I went to the Fairview website since they made the original hose and plugged in their part number but nothing comes up. I went through all their pigtails and none with this female connector. I guess I could try and source a male 3/8 to female 1/4 brass adapter to screw in the input side of the red regulator then use the common male 1/4” pigtail?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks,
Michael

Try a local propane distributor, one that services those with large tanks. They have the facilities to make custom hoses.

Your local Home Depot/ Lowes should have all the brass fittings you need.
