If your TV is getting signal from the antenna then I'd bet the wires for the gateway are sticking through the hole as well. Have you tried to find them.. with a hook or looked with a camera?

Same problem

I just purchased a Keystone Passport and when I removed the "cap" all that is there is the power wires and the end of a coax cable. what could the coax be going to?
