Ogden Utah recent owner

Good morning group

I just brought home a 2008 keystone raptor and looking for a place to ask questions gain some group experience from others who have been down the road I’m just starting on.

Currently pulling with a 2017 Silverado 3500hd and love it

Had many trailers over the years but never a camp trailer.

I am a manufacturing engineer who gave that crap up and now I’m a truck driver for heavy equipment and dirt work!

Welcome to the group Dave. Take a second to go to the UserCP and make a signature with year, make and model of your camper and same for your tow vehicle. Makes any question you ask be responded to with context. An old camper will have some things you will want to look at and first would be getting on the roof and re-sealing all the penetrations. Again, welcome!

Welcome to the forum. If you go up to the top of the page and click on "UserCP" then "edit signature" and create a signature with the make, model # and year of your trailer and truck it will appear at the bottom of your posts. This will help you get answeres that are relevant and avoid a lot of "back and forth" asking for the info.

Enjoy your new camper!

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new Raptor.

Probably, a good starting place some of your 'up front' questions about your new raptor can be found on good ol' YouTube.

Click here. I did a YouTube search on 2008 keystone raptor and these videos came up. Also, YouTube has a LOT, I mean, a LOT of videos on virtually anything RV related. Just type in the YouTube search box and be overwhelmed. YouTube is your friend!

Also, this forum is a good place also for specific details you may need answered too. Eventually, someone will come along and have the answer you need.

Enjoy that new Raptor and hope you have many, many great camping adventures with it.
