You may have a dead KeyTV module. If you are sure you are getting 12vDC to the unit, here is a thread with the same issue that explains how to test further.

It is a dead module. Time to take it to the shop while it is under warranty. Thank you!

When you take it in to have the KeyTV module replaced make sure they make it work and you see it. My SM said that over half of the replacement modules they installed were bad, so keep an eye on them.

I am not finding tech data on this 'key tv', anyone got a schematic or system schematic? from the wording above, it sends a 12v signal thru the coax? to a sat uplink module?

Member ChuckS has a few posts on this system..I think if you do a site search they should turn up…or search his posts…he has some diagrams and tech literature

Ok it appears this unit has no dead pass thru capability? meaning if it is off and you are downtown somewhere, no HDTV signals get thru?

Is it a broad spectrum amp, or fixed on say 54-695Mhz for HDTV (or higher for channels 52-99?)

And if so, is it safe to say that american fm (88-108mhz) is also dead if the unit is out?

I ask cuz I wonder if the Furian FM radio works if the keytv module is on the blink...

The KeyTV Module sends 12 volts DC up through the coax cable to the OTA roof mounted antenna to provide a 12 volt power source to the OTA antenna preamp...

If the KeyTV module is DEAD then NOTHING --- NO SIGNALS will pass through to TV sets, FM radio, SAT dish, etc...

I have not seen ANY schematic breakdown on the internals of the system.. It is a nice "Concept" with a poor reliability .. as can be easily found with searches on the internet...

The KeyTV module does have an internal fuse inside on the circuit board and if this is blown then you can rest assured the board is fried and you will need a new one...

If the BLUE LED is lt on the KeyTV module ALL this is telling you is the module is receiving a "Source" 12 volts DC from the RV to power the KeyTV module..

It means "Nothing" regarding whether the module is actually working...

IF the OTA antenna is not working "NO OTA stations found on the TV set" then I would check the integrity of the coax connectors on the backside of the KeyTV module first...

Followed by using a multimeter and remove OTA coax connection at the KeyTV module and measure at center pin and threaded barrel of SO239 connection for 12 volts DC

If no 12 volts DC is detected and BLue LED is lit the KeyTV module is bad..

IOF there is 12 volts measured at the OTA SO239 connection on the KeyTV module this means the module is sending 12 volts DC up to the OTA antenna on the roof but doesnt mean the OTA preamp is actually working

sounds like you tested these suckers...when you are sending 12v up to the rooftop RF amp, is the 12v present on any of the keytv outputs? (the standard allows for up to 60v on video equipment because of sat LNBs,but not sure if this will freak out a radio receiver...) or do they filter it out via a decoupler?

do you think in your blown one the fuse was gone? Id like to see the insides if anyone gets one...perhaps the regulated power supply was CCS (cheap chinese semiconductors)?

Keep in mind what I said in post #4. Make sure they test it and show you that all functions work on the TV, cable and satellite (if you have it or intend to have it). KeyTV can lose some of its functionalities while some still work. They replaced all of my components but I had them bypass it because I don't have satellite (and won't) and I only use TV in one spot.
