Shower faucet

Hello all,
Does anyone know how to tighten the shower spout/handle assembly to the base?
I figured I’d ask the pros before I started digging in.
Hopefully the attached picture shows what’s going on. I see my picture is rotated 90 degrees out of whack....

Thanks in advance!
Jeff

If you're asking about the gray plastic handle/knob, it's just like the similar home style. Pry the plastic cap off the front, there's a phillips screw under the cap.

If you're asking about the almond color faucet body, it is screwed to the almond color molding that is mounted to the shower/tub surround. Remove those 4 #2 square head screws and you'll be able to pull it off the shower surround (be careful with the sealant, work slowly so you don't crack the plastic pieces)...

Once you have it off the wall, you'll be able to disconnect the plumbing to access the back of the faucet. You'll find either two or four screws that hold the faucet body "tight against the molding".

When you get ready to reinstall it, work in reverse. It's easier to clean all the old sealant off the shower wall and the molding piece before you start to reassemble. When ready to reinstall it, apply the sealant to the back of the molding and carefully position it over the existing holes and install the screws. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THEM. Once installed, clean up any sealant that might have squeezed out and if necessary, after a day or two, apply sealant to any voids you see. Leave the bottom edge unsealed so water can escape in the event of a leak.

Thanks for the info John-much appreciated! Yes, I was referring to the almond colored faucet body.
I figured it was either pull the faucet or cut an access hole behind it (in my camper this would be in a linen closet).
Do you happen to know how the supply lines are attached to the faucet? (Crimped, threaded or something else?)

Thanks again!
Jeff

Look under your bathroom vainty at the connectors for the faucet. They are the same type. 1/2" plastic "cone washer" connectors with 3 tabs to help "finger tighten them to the faucet"... You won't need any tools to remove the connectors, they are just "barely finger tight" from the factory.
