Heated water hose

Does it matter where I place the orange sensor on the hose? Interior of camper (water hook up) or on the outside hydrant? How does the sensor work? Water temp or outside air temp? Its a whopping 13 degrees

Do you have a "heated" water hose or are you trying to "heat" a water hose with a tape?

I have a heated water hose. The sensor end on the outside of the blue water hose is connected to my camper making that sensor interior in front compartment

Are you using the Camco hose with the female fitting on both ends and double male to connect it?

Sensor needs to be outside of the compartment to sense the outside temp.

Thanks for the reply. Guess I got lucky last night, 14 degrees and didn't freeze up. I'll get it switched up!
