Info for Ford Truck Owners

Just wanted to share something I learned this week. I have a 2014 F150 and I had a marker lamp on the trailer short and it blew the fuse in the truck. Upon finding the fuse and replacing it, I noticed that the fuse and relay marked for charging the trailer through the 7 way connector were missing. I found in the glove box a package with a 30amp fuse and a relay that were not installed at prep for this purpose.

So all this time I thought the truck was charging the battery when traveling wasn't true. You might want to check and see if yours are installed.

That’s great info.
Mine is a 2016 F150 but I’m going out to check my fuse panel
